Board Member

Yousef Al-Obaidly has been a Board Member of Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) since 2011. He is also a Board Member of beIN MEDIA GROUP, MIRAMAX, Paris Saint-Germain Football Club, Paris Saint-Germain Handball, Qatar Tennis Federation, Premier Padel, Ooredoo Group and Es’hailSat.

Mr. Al-Obaidly is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer of beIN MEDIA GROUP, having successfully launched Al Jazeera Sport in 2003, which then evolved into beIN SPORTS. Mr. Al-Obaidly began the network’s international expansion by launching new sports channels in France, the United States, Canada and 11 countries across the Asia-Pacific region. As one of the most respected executives in sports and entertainment, Mr. Al-Obaidly oversees one of the largest portfolios of sports rights in the world. Under Mr. Al-Obaidly’s leadership, beIN is becoming a global entertainment powerhouse, notably through its Hollywood film studio, MIRAMAX, through its acquisition of Türkiye’s Digiturk and through its new streaming platform TOD.

Mr. Al-Obaidly is a former professional tennis player, who participated in the Davis Cup and other major tournaments.

He graduated from Seattle University, USA.
